Therapeutic Groups

Therapeutic groups allow participants to work through their concerns, problems, or emotional difficulties, and to acquire knowledge, and develop skills related to their area of interest or presenting problem. The groups provide their members an opportunity to express feelings and experiences, to gain a greater understanding of themselves and their situation, and to feel the support and encouragement of people facing similar situations. It also offers its members the opportunity to develop their ability to interact constructively with others and try new behaviors in a space of support and acceptance.
